When I started this blog I had great support from a fellow LibDem supporter who had similar views to myself. He wrote a blog too, much better than this one. We wanted two questions on the referendum paper as we felt that was the only way forward for Home Rule, an ideal our party had be striving for, for over 100 years. We also felt the party has lost its way in the search for power. Yesterday he had a shock for all who followed his blog, he was giving it up. He also mentioned that he had thought about sending his membership card back, This is how bad things have got in the party.

The Royal Kingdoms of Orkney, Shetland & Fife
It seems as if some patriotic Scots think that if Scotland becomes independent that certain areas should have the right to cede from Scotland. You have to wonder if these Scots have thought this out and if they have asked the people of these area what they think? In days gone by they would of been charged with treason but we are too civilised now to go that far. We just think that it is a few politicians who dislike of the SNP and what they stand and this gets in their way of rational thought and not what is best for the constituencies they represent & those Earls & Lords whose only claim to represent us is who his great great great ..... great grandfather was and who that relative killed to gain the land & title.

Post Conferences & The Real World
You may of noticed my absence on both here & Twitter. That is due to me being busy but also wanting to have a bit of a relaxing time. The busy part was attending two conferences/meetings. They could not of been more different, the Scot LibDem Conference in Inverness & the HMDSN Hirschsprung's meeting in Glasgow.
